Unhinged Review:
Modern times call for modern solutions. Owen Bailey has recently moved to Bleeding Hearts Valley and his good friend CeeCee has decided he needs to put himself out there on a dating app. He makes a connection with Kayleigh and there is a spark. Things seem to be going well until Owen starts to see Kayleigh every time he leaves his house. Is it a coincidence or something more? Secrets rarely stay hidden and no one is safe from being tangled in the past.
The book alternates between several points of view with many chapters replaying a scene from a different character’s perspective. The change of focus reframes the scene and you start to question more and more of what’s going on. I loved the way a scene took a complete turn just by looking at it from another angle. It’s a style that I have not seen much before, but I really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this book and found it a perfect addition to my Danielle Fear collection. As usual, the writing is sharp and the twists are mind blowing. I would expect nothing less!

If you’re reading these reviews wondering “Should I get this book?” I can answer that question for you- “Yes you absolutely should!” First of all, I love how original the story is. It’s a psychological thriller, but not like any I had ever read before. From the beginning of the book I was thinking it was a clever idea- the story seemed to be a well balanced mix of thriller and dark comedy. Each scene was constructed so well that I kept coming back for more! Some parts were so insane I had to turn the page back “Did I just read what I think I read…oh ok, yes I did. That actually happened.” And I really liked Chrissie as a character, the writer clearly took a lot of time to craft her layered and complex personality. Excellent book!

Sweet Insanity
I absolutely loved this gripping medical/psychological thriller.
Danielle really does know how to put her name into her exciting books "FEAR"
The researchers have convinced Lindsey that K-29 can make the changes and she can make a difference in her patients' behaviours.
Danielle grabbed and held my attention with this brilliant short story, I read it in one sitting, unable to put it down.
The characters are exceptionally well portrayed and visually identifiable, it is an amazing and tense journey.

Hushed Tones
Hushed Tones by Danielle Fear is the kind of short book that quietly gets under your skin. What a sequel! “Echoed Breaths” by Danielle Fear is the sequel to “Hushed Tones”, A Deadly Silence story and I absolutely loved them both! This one is dark, suspenseful, and packed with tension that keeps building until the very end. I was on the edge of my seat, completely consumed by the story, and that ending?! I did NOT see it coming. It left me absolutely shook!

Prism: A Colony Carnivale Novella
Ok... what did I just read? Because that was a STRONG HIT and I'm struggling to write a review here... let me just take a second to breathe.
Ok.
This is one of those stories that lead you one way, with the start making you feel all the feelings, and you're empathising with the villain (before you know they're the villain), and then the rug is whipped out from under your feet and BOOM! I did not see any of that happening, and my goodness, I LOVED it! Did I feel sick at one scene - yes. Did I keep reading - whilst hugging a pillow - YES. By the end of it, I felt like it had been me wandering in a hall of mirrors, and circling down the wrong path. Sooo cleverly done. I wish I knew what happens with the wheel...

If you love psychological thrillers, then Danielle Fear is definitely an author to add to your list! No One Stopped Me should absolutely be on your TBR.
This book is so well written, and the twist completely caught me off guard. You really don’t see it coming until it hits you straight in the face! 😱
I was hooked from start to finish and I honestly can’t wait for Book 2. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long!

Ok. This story is just nuckin’ futs. Michael is working as a janitor at Harvard trying to make ends meet. Unfortunately they never met quite enough for him to GO to Harvard. As is life. Then he ends up meeting this gorgeous and quite wealthy woman, Victoria, from England in the gym who is a student. Boy meets girl. They fall in love. How about Christmas back home with her family? Well. Michael has no idea what he’s getting into. He has a few secrets himself that he may not be able to hide on a trip like this. I can’t keep going without spoiling it. But the twist will really get you.
This is part of a 3 book series. Independent books but all written in advent style to enjoy a chapter each day until Christmas. I promise you will want the whole series, but this was probably my favorite of the three. I’m still kind of WTF about…well, all of it past chapter one. Well done Danielle.

This obsession story took place in a claustrophobic shop setting and the confines of the changing room, which I loved. Although I felt it could have had more written about the backstory, it was a quick, enjoyable read!
